Sources & Fact-Checking Policy

FindYourEdu relies on credible, verifiable information. This page explains where our facts come from.

Our sourcing standards

We prioritise primary sources — official data, peer-reviewed research, recognised institutions, and direct expertise — over second-hand summaries. When we reference external information, we link to it so readers can verify it themselves.

Fact-checking

Claims of fact are checked before publication. Statistics are dated and attributed. Where evidence is uncertain or evolving, we say so rather than overstating certainty.

Review before publishing

Every guide is checked before publication by a second member of the FindYourEdu editorial team for factual accuracy, clarity and internal consistency. To be explicit about our limits: we are researchers and writers, not licensed counselors, admissions officers or accredited education professionals, and we do not present our guides as professional advice. Where a decision needs qualified guidance, we tell you to speak to your school, the institution itself, or a licensed practitioner.
