About FindYourEdu
FindYourEdu is an independent, self-published education website. We write plain-English guides about the things students actually have to get through: choosing a major, building a college application, preparing for standardised tests, understanding GPA, finding financial aid, budgeting, studying effectively and staying well while doing it.
What we are not
We want this stated plainly, because education is a field where confusion is expensive. FindYourEdu is not a university, a college, or any kind of educational institution. We are not an admissions office and we do not represent one. We are not an accreditation body, a government education agency, or a scholarship provider. We are not licensed counsellors, admissions consultants or immigration advisers, and we hold no partnership, sponsorship, affiliation or agency agreement with any university, examination board or government department anywhere in the world. Nothing on this site is an application to any institution, and we cannot submit, forward, influence or track an application on your behalf.
Who writes this
The site is produced by a small editorial team publishing collectively as the FindYourEdu Editorial Team rather than under individual bylines. Our team members are researchers and writers. We are not certified education professionals, and we do not present our guides as professional advice. Every guide is checked by a second person before publication for factual accuracy, clarity and internal consistency, and we revisit pages when the underlying information changes.
Because admissions rules, fees, deadlines and visa requirements change frequently and differ by country and institution, we deliberately explain how things work rather than publishing institution-specific figures we cannot keep current. For anything binding — a deadline, a fee, an eligibility rule, a visa condition — always confirm directly with the institution or the relevant official government source. Where a decision needs qualified guidance, speak to your school counsellor, the institution itself, or a licensed practitioner.
How we are funded
FindYourEdu is free to read and is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertising slots are clearly separated from editorial content and labelled. Advertisers have no input into what we publish, which topics we cover, or what we conclude. We do not sell leads, we do not pass reader details to schools, agents or recruiters, and we do not receive commission for sending you to any institution. We run no analytics tracker of our own: we do not use Google Analytics and we do not build visitor profiles. The only personal data we receive is what you voluntarily type into our contact form, which is described in our privacy policy.
About this domain's history
In the interest of transparency: the domain name findyouredutoday.com existed before this publication. Public web archives show that between roughly 2019 and 2023, under previous and unrelated ownership, the domain was not a content site at all — it was used as a parked redirect page that forwarded visitors to unrelated third-party advertising destinations. The present FindYourEdu website was registered and built in 2026 and has no connection to that earlier activity, no shared ownership, and no shared content. Every page on this site was written for this site. Any old archived URL from that period now returns HTTP 410 Gone and does not resolve to any article here.
Corrections
If you find an error, tell us and we will review it. Corrections that affect the substance of an article are applied to the page itself, as described in our corrections policy. You can reach us through our contact page.
